Water jet pump, abbreviated as jet pump, is a special hydraulic pump that uses the principle of jet flow to transfer the ability of the high-pressure power fluid injected into the well to the rodless hydraulic oil production device for downhole production.
The composition of the jet pump oil recovery system is similar to that of the hydraulic piston oil recovery system, consisting of a surface storage tank, a high-pressure surface pump, and a downhole jet pump.
The downhole assembly of jet pump and hydraulic piston pump can be used interchangeably. The type of downhole device of jet pump is the same as that of hydraulic piston pump, including fixed device and free device, but jet pump can only use open power fluid system.
The jet pump has no moving parts downhole, and it has strong adaptability to high temperature deep wells, high production wells, sand-containing, corrosive media, heavy oil and high gas-liquid ratio oil wells.
