Customized Water Jet
We got one European order and the customer mainly cuts glass, size is up to 3.6*2.5m.
The waterjet cutter becomes more and more popular in the glass machining industry in recent years. Because the high-pressure water would drill glass and cut different designs, it is mainly used in the door of the bathroom, and the table, mirror, etc.
But, due to the glass is easily fragile, high-pressure water would easily make the glass surface being broken at the beginning of the cutting.
To better solve this problem, we had researched the technology which can adjust the high pressure automatically.
Simply speaking, that is low-pressure cuts the first time, high-pressure cuts the holes, release the pressure immediately. The glass would be very beautiful by the water cut.
Let’s go back to this order. Consider the glass is a big size, the loading container size is limited. Finally, we determined to produce a customized water jet machine with communication through the technology department, production department, and the customer.
The machine is made of two small cutting tables, a valid cutting size is 4*3m.
After the machine was done, we shared the cutting result with the customer and he was very satisfied with it.
