Classification of household booster pumps
Sort by function
Divided into silent pump, booster pump, constant pressure pump, self-priming pump, jet pump... In fact, these are all based on the actual function and application scenarios of the pump.
silent pump
As the name suggests, the mute effect is good during use, but the general power is low, no more than 300 watts, all of which are plastic and resin impellers are generally of the relatively simple style as shown in the figure below.
The booster pump can add a certain pressure to the pipeline, but it usually cannot guarantee the constant water pressure in the case of multiple open faucets. That is to say, when using this pump, the water pressure of one faucet is guaranteed. After opening several faucets, the water pressure of each faucet is small and the water flow is small.
Constant pressure pump
Compared with the ordinary booster pump, the constant pressure pump can ensure the constant water pressure, that is, no matter how many faucets are opened at home (within the power of the pump), it can ensure the stability of the water pressure and water flow, and there will be no ordinary booster pump because The phenomenon of opening more faucets and reducing water pressure and reducing water flow.
self-priming pump
Ordinary atmospheric pressure can press the water to a height of about 10 meters (four floors). The self-priming pump is to create a vacuum environment in the pump body through the high-speed rotation of the rotor, and attract the water flow that could not reach the height. Here involves a term called "suction stroke", which is how high the self-priming pump can suck the water. high.
jet pump
The liquid is ejected at high speed to create negative pressure to attract water flow. After the negative pressure is formed, water can be automatically pumped without the aid of the pump body. It can be classified as a kind of self-priming pump, but the noise will be slightly larger than that of the self-priming pump, and the water flow is said to be surging.
